Bridge Over the River

I spent years crossing this little bridge with our children as it was on the route to primary school.We were privileged to have a very pretty walk to school. Although we live in a town in North London, the walk had a feeling of the country about it. Sometimes we even heard a cockerel crowing and there were always the antics of the swans, ducks and geese to keep us amused on the way.

This bridge is lovely, puts up with a lot of pedestrian traffic but is treacherous in the icy winter. Always was fun trying to stay upright!
