Adam & Eve - alternative scenarios.
Two ceramic tablets of the garden of Eden, one where the apple is presumably about to be picked, and thus allow sex to raise it's ugly head, and the other where an angel chases the pair from the garden. Just as well the first prevailed otherwise none of you would be here to read this nonsense. :-)
The third bit of "china" depicts a slightly embarrassed Virgin Mary, with child. I guess she knows the truth of that story! Perhaps that's why the Spanish for pregnancy is "embarasada". (Apologies if misspelt.)
These ceramics were in an exhibition somewhere in Gubbio, a beautiful Umbrian town, to rival Tuscany's best.
