" which was a fair walk amongst the bush flies"- says Amber..I told her most Aussies are known to have a "permanent wave" - which is due to the waving away of the bush flies, which were particularly bad today...and she's really in the country now..

...It was very quiet on Lock Island, the old Rothbury had passed through the Lock and went on its way, and so did we, over to the Weir...and there's a fair amount of water going over there today we noticed..and a nice day was had by all - gosh we're going to miss the girls, our lovely Grand-daughters...
