My Oh My

Yesterday was travels.

Arrived at J+A's friends' place in Seattle and they are very lovely, and have two very lovely young boys - the older was so sweet with T, and the younger told me all about his passion for Greek mythology... and Star Wars. Great kids.

Today we went downtown, to Pike Place Market (am I saying it right?) to have a wonder around the exciting stalls that I only vaguely remembered from my trip a decade ago, and some delicious grilled salmon. Maybe a bit too exciting for T, who got a bit fed up after lunch, so J and I continued on our own, meeting a cousin for a bit and seeing downtown/waiting for buses/seeing Ballard and some lovely shops (not enough boutiques like this in London!). When we got back, A's brother was there as well as the family of our hosts. Met more kids, enjoyed more company, played a very frustrating game called Perplexus, it's a 3D maze and it is infuriating. Good fun though. Also, delicious sweet-potato and bean quesadillas, so spoilt!

The kids (and adults) showed us some hilarious videos on YouTube and chatted about The Mac and Ultimate Frisbee. And then I updated my blip, while T slept and J and A went out for dinner! Many achievements all around.
