Day 8 - Sober for October

I'm feeling a lot better, but probably a bit warmer than I should be. This SP lark is a good diagnostics tool - who needs a thermometer?

The Little Shop of Treasures was great yesterday - I was put in charge of sorting and tagging donations. Very exciting! And I worked with a lovely lady who has put me in touch with a man. Not just any man. The man in charge of the Kelso allotments! The land was only recently made available by the Duke and I thought they had all gone: but apparently some have been abandoned already. 4 times the size of my vegetable growing area at home - and for £25 a year! There is a communal shed with shared tools for people who don't have a car and it is within 5 minutes cycling distance. Perfect!

And I've got a date for my CT scan: 11 October which is the morning we go on holiday, so I'll have the hire car and be distracted with happy holiday thoughts. It couldn't be better timing.
