This might be a bit corny, but people in Christhcurch absolutely love the Isaac Theatre Royal and are dreaming and longing for the day when it's up and running again. It was the most wonderful building, and I've attended some memorable events there. I've blipped it before in April, and there wasn't a lot going on then. It was badly damaged in the 2010 and 2011 quakes, but the facade was retained (as in the link above) and now the amazing work of restoration is happening! It's just wonderful. There's been an increase of work happening lately, and this group of builders were hard at it this morning. I was most impressed at the intensity of the work going on. I could do with them at my place!

GingerNan, Spikes2013 and I had our usual Friday morning walk around today and New Regent St was our target. We ran into Artival, who none of us had met before! I think the cameras gave us away :) LOL
