Red mountains

A stark contrast from the lush greens and blue waters of Vancouver, Kamloops offers quite the change in scenery. The people here are laid-back and genuinely nice, and having me-time galore sounded like a good break, but I'm starting to miss home. There is only so much solitude I can handle before craving the familiar warmth of my messy house with eardrum breaking shrieks. Yes, you got it right. I'd rather be eating off of my kiddies' dinner plate while laughing with them, than eating a gourmet dinner all by myself.
