A Fishy Delivery

Sis and I took ourselves back onto the harbour for a bit more night photography this evening. It's such a busy harbour, the boats were constantly in and out delivering their catch to these guys. This boat was was quite a while hooking up it's crates of catch, then the guys above winched it up, stacked it then onto a forklift and into the building to be sorted.

Bridlingtons primary catch is now shellfish and it's one of the biggest suppliers of shellfish in the country. Not so much fish, but they still do some. I remember dad going fishing on a coble for the day back in the 80's and coming back with loads good sized fish. Those days are gone, but shellfish is prolific!
