Dean Castle

Spent most of the day at Dean Castle in Kilmarnock filming the textile group who are making a replica of the French standard captured during the Battle of Waterloo by Ensign Ewart.

This lady is Helen McCook who was tutoring the group in specialist neddlework techniques. I was interviewing her about the project for a video that we are making. This photo was taken in the banqueting hall in Dean Castle.

This was the first shooting session of what will hopefully be an 18 month project.
