"purple"

As summer comes to an end, the last of the colour begins to appear in the parks and hedgerows. In particular, blackberries are beginning to ripen - I'm keeping a very close eye on the stash I've found and claiming for myself! haha! :)

I walked through the park this evening on my way home from work and little splashes of purple caught my eye, poking their heads out from within the green ivy that covers the stone wall.

Plant, flower or weed - whatever it is I love the colour and the smile it puts on my face knowing that nature is squeezing every last bit out of summer before the dark months come....
