Palacio Real de Madrid

I'm a tourist for another day! Today I decided to go to the Almudena Cathedral. I took 4 metro lines to get there! On the way I ran into the Royal Palace of Madrid. I posted on Instagram asking wether the king and queen live there. Did some research on Wikipedia and apparently they don't. This palace is there "official" residence, but they actually live in a more modest palace on the outskirts of town. Right next door was the cathedral, so I went in, took in the sights, and just spent some time with God.

Later, I stumbled across this glass building. It looked interesting, so I went in. It was the coolest place ever. There was food everywhere. It was like tapas heaven. See more photos here. I even ran into a fellow Californian, Symone. It was great meeting somebody from my home area.

Round 2 of exploring Madrid was great. I almost feel like I should start a vlog because there's just so much.
