Light on Lake Balaton
From the winery we had lunch at. We descended on them like a horde, seven of us with bags of peppers, sweet and hot, tomatoes that tasted of the warm summer past, pickles, dried sausage and various breads, for a picnic to go with our wine tasting. No reds -- they don't seem to make them on this side of the lake. But a beautifully dry Chardonnay that tasted more like a sauvignon blanc. I'm going to try to bring a bottle home...if it survives the next couple of days!
