Grabbing attention

Beyond finch fair, this is a teasel, it was like it was reaching it's spiky arms towards me, grabbing my attention for a photograph. I'm glad it did at 6pm this evening having taken no photographs at all - well one for the main blip - but all with my compact canon camera!

I think I now know why all the birds have disappeared - it IS that sparrowhawk from yesterday...!
