City girl in the country

After 3 years at Uni together, without visiting Dunstable once, today Hava came to visit for the day! Better late than never :).

It was so nice to see her and properly catch up on both of our busy summers - the last time I saw her was 2 months ago in London for her 21st! After seeing each other every day (almost) at Uni (we took the same course) to seeing each other not at all, we had a lot to talk about!

I took her on a comprehensive tour of the local countryside: Ivinghoe Beacon (where we picnicked for lunch and picked some blackberries), Ashridge Estate (where this photo was taken) and the Dunstable Downs (where we got tea). I think she appreciated getting some fresh air.
