Aerial Attack!
Liverpool World Museum, a bag of bones sweeping down on the attack…thought it made a nice colourful shot.
Today we headed into Liverpool to go out for lunch with Thom’s friend Kat, as she is studying at Liverpool University and it just happened to be her birthday the day before. So, my first time running the friend gauntlet to get a seal of approval…I think it went alright! Was lovely to have a meal out and spend some time with one of Thom’s friends, gives me practise for when I have to meet the entire family for his late 21st birthday party! If they are all as lovely as the ones I’ve met, I’m sure I will be fine.
After lunch Thom and I ended up heading to the World Museum, and spent a few hours wandering around the various floors…although we were unanimous in our decision that our favourite floor was the aquarium. What is there not to love about watching fish and reading about them?! I know, a bit geeky, but nothing wrong with that right?
Our evening was spent chilling with my parents, watching television and just generally having a chat etc. Sometimes it is nice just to do nothing, in a way it is strange to do that with Thom there as I’m just so used to having to work all the time with him! It is lovely to actually just spend time with him not having to think about work, or cleaning, or keeping the customers happy, or keeping our managers happy.
In an aside, a massive thanks to everyone who took the time out yesterday to comment on my 365th Blip, so many people commented that I hit the Spotlight for the first time ever...so cheers for really making my day!
