MIRROR.....
.....but this isn't any old mirror - this is The Daily MIRROR and fits in well with my "out of the box" thinking for HeartFreek's September Challenge.
I'm a Daily Mail reader usually, and surprise, surprise, I have got to know the newsagent where I buy my paper each day. His name is Dipak and he is a very hard worker - up at 5.30 every morning to sort and deliver the papers before he gets his two little ones up for school. I asked him, as a favour, and after explaining about blipping, if I could take a photograph of today's Daily Mirror - although I didn't want to buy it! He smiled his lovely, open smile and said "Of course!" Perhaps I should have blipped him too!
Then we went into Lidl and after some banter with the customer in front of us, I tried to pay for his onions because he had teased me, saying I could pay for them. However, having said that, he wouldn't let me pay!
Even in Costa Coffee, I tried to buy a coffee for the man who let me go in front of him, but again, he wouldn't let me.
My friend, Lisa, who lives in the flat next door with her husband, Erich, treated me to a lovely lunch at Little Pickle Deli Cafe in Boscombe, so maybe I just need to ACCEPT the blessings today and then I can "pay it forward" and bless others tomorrow.
