the man that waves

This is job satisfaction.

This man is such a happy smiley man. Everyday I drive down this road and there he is. He sits with his board and waves. He waves to everyone sat at the traffic lights and he makes everyone smile.

In December he dresses as santa and in the summer he has massive sunglasses and a parasol hat. Rain or shine he is there.

The lorry drivers toot him and kids are delighted to see him.

One day I may ask him for a portrait but today I wanted to catch him at work...sat on the grass verge...waiting for the lights to change.
