Moyenmoutier Abbey

Moyenmoutier is village near by where our friends are renovating a small house. The village is pretty with many traditional style buildings and an Abbey, looking magnificent and sad, it is in need of remedial repair. The interior including interesting wall panels and seats. *Baroque church of Lorraine, the abbey church surprises with its dimensions and technical used for its elevation (no buttress or pillar, the weight of the building rests on the frame). The furniture is equally outstanding, including the entire 17th century carved stalls occupying the front of the church choir,
