North to the Sunshine

Got up ridiculously early, and drove north in darkness, in fog, in rain and in mist, until I reached the coast at Stonehaven just south of Aberdeen.

At that point, the skies cleared and the sun shone - and I got a walk around the harbour, before heading to the rather bigger harbour in Aberdeen for the ferry to Shetland.
