Coat of Many Colours

Opportunity knocked this morning.

The husband lost his mobile phone out on the street this morning. It was handed in by a neighbour. Since he was finishing early today, due to a pre 5am start, I decided to meet him at work to hand it over and walk back with him. On the way I spied the above door in the process of being stripped, but I didn't photograph it until walking back. The following conversation ensued.

Me: I want to stop and take a picture of this door for blip.
Husband: *genuinely shocked* You can't do that, what if someone's in there!?
Me: Well, when they shout, 'Oi!', we run.

Sadly, no one shouted, 'Oi!', and I was so ready to trip the husband.
