Home is where...

Another picture from my trip this summer. It's taken in Cape Town, South Africa- one of the most beautiful places I have ever been! This was by far the longest vacation I've ever taken (2 months) and I missed my family and friends a ton!
I was reminded today of how nice it is to have family close- my mom flew in for a quick visit/work trip. It's comforting to have a piece of home but I've realized, after being in LA for three years, that my friends have become my surrogate family.
Thankful that I have such wonderful people as family and friends :)
