Knot Grass Moth Caterpillar

Some fine weather for Forest School, exploring today using owl eyes and hawk eyes in our searching. Spiders are in abundance, especially the very large house spider in the solar dome, brave enough to come in and see it but quick to leave when it's seen. Garden spider catching a crane fly was a highlight for the group this afternoon and then this unexpected find of the moth caterpillar.
