Narrowly avoiding an urgent visit from NSPCC for such dreadful parenting, I persuaded her it was a fine idea and within 15 seconds of setting off she had forgotten what the bloody hell she was moaning about anyway....

We also were entertainment innovators and developed the game of Pooh Rocks. Ok , really it's like Pooh Sticks but with rocks, but innovation is innovation.

Oh and Madame pulled a non April Fool's Day on me telling me this morning that she had seen on the news that Bradley Wiggins was racing The Brownlees next year. Apparently, she said, he was " preparing for the race of his life " and would be " pulling out all stops". All bloody day I searched on Google for this before she told me she just wanted to see how far she can wind me up. Still I am impressed that she is learning her sporting cliches young, she may go into sports journalism that one, well I guess that's so long as she doesn't have to actually walk anywhere!
