A marble run...

Is what we made this afternoon; in the morning we made spiced apple jelly with apples from the tree in the garden. And it was a success! But the skimming bit was tricky.
The balancing of the marble run pieces was also tricky, but Luka was very careful and it lasted well. Until the others came home, and wanted a go. At which point he trashed it. Of course.
