spotty dog

A very productive day. Bit of housework first, sorted the recycling, raked dead leaves from the garden, cut back some plants and applied some autumn lawn feed. Then 4 bags of garden waste, plus cardboard, plastics, metal and a bit of old fence went off to the recycling centre (we still call it the tip).

The afternoon walk was good too. While on on the riverside footpath  I spotted 3 dogs playing in the next field. Camera at the ready I closed in, then one dog came bounding towards me and jumped up - at least it's paws were clean. I asked the owners if I could take some photos and they were very obliging -  the owners that is, not the dogs. I ended up with 3 usable shots of these very lively dogs but liked this one best.
