Better late than never!

At the end of April our wall is a mass of pale pink blooms of a Clematis Montana. For two or three weeks we marvel at the profuse display. Then, suddenly, it's all over for another year. Today I couldn't believe my eyes as I spotted this little chap on the top of the wall! A solitary display just five months late!
