Portholland

Not the best title, but I can't find anywhere why it's called Portholland - there's in fact East & West Portholland which are only joined together when the tide is out by incredible golden sands. It was the last beach & sea I ever swam in, back in 2003! I know sounds daft, but the summer temperatures have never been as good back then & the mere thought getting into a swimming costume fills me with utter horror! Anyhow, beautiful place, although a cup of tea at £1.80 is pushing it rather!!!
