Back at Ed's

So the company I work for manufacture Jukeboxes. We supply the Ed's diner chain in the UK with both remote selectors and wall speakers and one has just opened in Sheffield - Meadowhall. I love the fact we have an Ed's in Meadowhall. It's situated about 200 yards from the place where i had my first ever Saturday job when I was 16. Rock Island Diner. A 50's diner with a twist. There was a mock radio station in the restaurant (WRID) The dj would do a live show throughout the day and every so often your waiters and buss boys (of which i was one) would leap up on the tables and do dance routines.. yes it sounds crazy but... I loved it.

At least with Ed's I get to soak up the atmosphere without having to do anything too energetic.. I cant help feeling they are missing the live dj aspect though..
