Woodcarvings at Auchinstarry

This guys face makes up one end of a rather surreal bench carved from a large log at Auchinstarry. He probably doesn't look too happy as in his long hair-do is a heron catching a fish!

Had a lovely day with friends today and a nice walk along the canal and over Croy Hill. Then came back to rescue a roast chicken!
