Golden celebration

A David Austin tea rose. I have blipped it before but there were no less than three blooms and a bud on it today, so I had to blip it again. Besides, I was daydreaming about my golden birthday celebrations (next year) right before I went outside and saw this. Then I had to make more rose face cream for a health fair on Saturday...

It's a bit of a mad week and I'm working flat out on several projects, so forgive me if I make no sense. It's all good, but it's like the arrival of the no. 73 bus: why all at once?
