well, after it died less than a month after the warranty ran out, and after having to shell out almost £80 for the repair, my XBox has returned.

I have been fighting with photos for the last few nights, hopefully I can get some of my holiday back blips up tonight. or maybe tomorrow...

*it means I can now watch movies on the telly as it was my media centre and DVD player!
