There was always something slimey about Armstrong but his battle against illness made him virtually morally untouchable . The most annoying aspect of this tale of woe is that he really didn't fool anyone connected with the sport - they just buried their heads I the sand and that he had the audacity to try to pull it off. But what makes him different from all those others who commentate on Eurosport or still even take part in cycling and the tour who over the years failed drugs tests?
