All The Ales

We had a couple of friends visit from London today, which coincided with a random medieval open day at the local church where they were selling their home-brewed 'Church Ale', which went down very well indeed. I'm glad Wivenhoe has these quirks. We spent the rest of the day in various pubs, meeting up with various friends, drinking various drinks. It all ended in a much needed curry, and me feeling a bit smug as I'd been sensible enough to have a few soft drinks through the day. The others all had their hangovers kick-in on the train home ha!
