I had a splendid time at the Manchester Police Museum on Newton Street today. The museum opens on Tuesdays only and I can recommend a visit. Explore the original Victorian cells, courtroom and galleries. Weapons, uniforms and memorabilia are on display and the museum is curated by extremely friendly and knowledgable staff.
