Shopping in Blackburn and Maria's Giraffe onesie.
We bought a Duo ticket and went to Blackburn on the train for what turned out to be nearly four hours of really fantastic Mother daughter retail therapy. The weather started quite cloudy but became so sunny and warm, hoodies and cardigans were soon put in shopping bags.
Maria had written a list of things she needed, so we started at TKMax, which is nice and close to the railway station and near to Matalan. I bought a photo frame and resisted several temptations!
We popped into Carphone Warehouse to check the tariff for her new Huawei phone contract was correct and it was slightly more than expected because they take a little extra for the first payment and she was asked to pay £100 deposit, as this is the first thing she has ever bought on credit.
We browsed in Primark and Maria decided on the Giraffe onesie.
It is lovely fabric and will be fun to wear after Fresher's week.
We went to M&S as she had a voucher for her birthday, and she bought some pretty pot pourri that smelt heavenly and had beautiful dried decorative flowers and woodland cones.
The queue in Bodycare was very busy, so we went to Superdrug, Boots and Poundland for several bits and things for the uni kitchen.
By home time our feet were aching, but after some hot chocolate and toast we bounced back.
Maria is now making some banana mufffins.
Have a great evening blipper friends.
