Day's End

Sunset on Siltcoos Lake. Worked. Got my hair cut short. Worked some more. Went out to
Ada and had Burgers and hot dogs with Mike and Sue, my husband and two of my daughters. Some relatives left yesterday, one today. My other daughter will be coming in a couple of days and one son-in-law has already left for London with my daughter not far behind him! This summer just seems like Hellos and good-byes and we are in the good-bye stage now. I'm trying real hard to be happy about the time I've had and not be sad about the Good-byes but sometimes it's hard. Today it was hard. Tomorrow will be better! My youngest daughter always says "Today is the best day ever!" She says it every day. One time she confided in me, "Mom, you know sometimes it isn't the best day ever but if I keep telling myself it is it almost always turns into the best day ever." Tomorrow is going to be the best day ever!
