Camera course Week 2

Yikes. Depth of field, aperture and f-stops.

Big number, small opening, wide focus, low light
Small number, big opening, isolated focal points, blurry background, more light

So when I started testing this I found I could do the large aperture not too badly, but when I came to test the small aperture my photo was a white wash. But how could that be, small aperture = less light = darker picture.

Frustration sets in, until I inspect more closely what had happened and the camera had upped the ISO and changed the speed... can I blame the camera? I suppose not - user error...hrmph
