PARC MERLET

Hugo and Pascal had had a serious fallout over whose turn it was to play with the red and green truck in the sandpit.

Also in the picture is a Marmot by the shepherd's hut and another on the wall at the corner of the chalet, and a stag walking off up the hill.

This place is a joy. 21 hectares of meadow and forest to meander through where the animals, Llamas, Chamois, goats, sheep, marmots, deer, Ibex, squirrels, wander freely, sometimes giving you a bit of a surprise when you round a corner in the woods to find a huge horned beast lounging across the path! There is only one fence surrounding the whole enclosure, and another round the owner's vegetable garden!

On the way home we got a puncture.
