Tasty

Of all the trees and shrubs in our street, this one, just across from us, is perhaps my favourite. It's a callistemon, or bottlebrush, and for much of the year it is a prolific provider for the honey-eating birds of the area. It was the wrong end of the day to spot any, but I'll be back. And should any of you like to have this bottlebrush outside your front door . . . that yellow board on the verge is a For Sale sign.
