Oh dam!

The sand and gravel piled in the street left over from our backyard project combined with the heavy rains of the last couple of days to create a bit of a dam in front of the house. It's made it quite challenging to get in and out of the car. Laurie, bless her heart, was out in the pouring rain this afternoon digging channels so the water could travel to the storm drains. She gets a gold medal.
