A lone rose
Not often we see roses growing in Copacabana - usually only find cut ones in flower shops and markets. So when I spotted this in front of our neighbour's house, newly washed by the light rain, had to capture it. Attempts with big camera didn't come out well - have to stand too far away even for a macro, so back to the small digital.
Otherwise spent Monday playing catch-up with work, after spending far too much time over the last few days admiring all the wonderful photos on Blip. Even cooked lunch - baked fish and roasted vegetables, not bad.
Nearly time for a snack and a beer now.
