Life's a beach

It's been misty, drizzly, drookit weather for the last few days but we got a little bit of clear sky this afternoon.

Went for a walk with the dog on Waulkmill beach when the tide was out. It goes out a long way leaving brilliant clear flat sand.

Great feeling of peace and tranquility. It's my birthday so it was nice for a wee while just to be at one with nature.

Then back to the house for some liquid refreshment!
