The Spider and the fly.

Sorry for those that are not keen on Spiders,but their colour and fine detail have always fascinated me!
This is with my new Sigma 105mm OS Macro lens again,but this time on the D800.And I must say I am very impressed with my group of Sigma lenses.
I now have a 12-24 HSM + 105mm Macro (this one) and of course Big Sig 150-500.
I think the sharpness of this lens and the resolution of the D800 really compliment one another? Just see the detail in Large.And this was hand held!
Any way this Spider caught the Crane Fly in it's web and by the time I had set up my Camera / Lens combo,the Crane Fly was bundled up and ready for dinner!

Just had to correct the lens spec.People would be wondering what lens I was referring to. It is the latest Sigma Macro lens!
