Levelling the Land

Trust me to be without my proper camera when a blip-opportunity trundled into view. Oh well it came out OK on i-phone.

James (eldest son) went for his "16+ appointment" at the Health Centre today. First time he has gone on his own, for a routine check of height and weight and booster jabs for tetanus and polio etc.

The letter that came (addressed to him), suggested that he use this opportunity to talk to the nurse about any other concerns he might have....for example any sexual concerns.....& he was asked if he wanted a chlamydia test...

You know when you just want to stick your fingers in your ears and humm loudly and pretend that it isn't happening? That's how I feel about the idea of my son as a grown up!

Besides he still tells his Mummy everything............doesn't he?????
