T'Arctics

Today has been mostly spent working whilst listening to the new Arctic Monkeys (t'Arctics if you're proper Yorkshire and not some Devon/Yorkshire hybrid like wot I am) and playing with my new fish-eye/macro attachment for the iPhone.

If you haven't listened t'Arctics, go and buy it NOW! Especially if you like to hear John Lennon singing Black Sabbath songs with some melodic U2 thrown in.

Oh, and my 17 year old can't decide whether it's cool that Mum likes t'Arctics, or completely mortifying. The latter I suspect.

ps just been reminded of a very bad joke - the definition of "twerk" - (a) a sexually provocative, hip thrusting dance as practised controversially by Miley Cyrus at the VMAs and (b) where Yorkshire folk go on a Monday morning.
