Wild rabbit...

Went for a wee wonder after work & spotted this rabbit at our local park.

Nana is staying with us now as of last night when she got really upset about being on her own. She has been doing quite well, but she really does not want to be on her own anymore, even with family, friends, carers etc constantly going in to see her every day. So today Mum & M moved some furniture about to make it a bit easier on Nana, when she is staying with us. Nana has been writing wee notes to herself to remind her that she wants to go into a residential care home. She remembers the week she stayed in one & thinks she would like to go back there & watch the squirrels because there was always someone there especially at night. Mum has handed in Nana's notice to quit the sheltered accommodation she is in at the moment, which will take 4 weeks. This will gives us time to sort everything out. Nana seems to be happier now she knows she wont be on her own.

It's a horrible time because we feel guilty not being able to look after Nana 24 hours a day long term as we need to work. Nana gets so upset as well because she does not want us to look after her, she just wants to be Nana again without the care needs. I do hope she will be happy at the home, she did seem a lot more settled & as she puts it ?with it? when she was there for a week.

Sorry for rambling on a bit, it has been a long day.
