Oh what a beautiful morning...

Looked out of the window at 0645 and there were three jets high in the sky leaving contrails like white slashes in blue satin. There's my Blip!!!

I ran outside (well walked quickly) and grabbed some shots of three distant Lufthansa planes; a 767 from Montreal to Brussels, an A330 from Dallas to Frankfurt and an A343 from Atlanta to Frankfurt (Don't you just love Plane Finder)

Within minutes of taking the shots I thought I wanted the sky turned golden orange and the rising sun saturated the fields and trees. I didn't have time to find a better vantage point so snapped a couple of views through the hedges and trees.
