Fern Burn

Twenty three walkers headed out this morning, our first walk was along the Fern Burn track.  Because it was a short walk, we were back at our cars by lunch time.  We had our lunch under the bridge going over the Matikituki River, (because it was raining.) then drove to Glendhu Bay where we had a gentle walk for an hour (not raining).   A nice hot cuppa at a local café rounded off the day's walk.  This photo was taken at the turning back point on the Fern Burn Track.
