fall is in the air

Our regular Sunday trip to the farmer's market provided reminders that fall is in the air. The fruit stalls offered a mixture of late summer fruits (plums, nectarines) and autumn specialties (pomegranates, persimmons). Plenty of pumpkins too. For the past few days the weather has been cooler and even some rain... we're trying to enjoy the last bits of summer while we can.
