Margaret, Wife of Sir Francis
The wife of the royal governor of Jamestown, Margaret, was going back to jolly old England (ca.1622) and consented to give us an inbriefing for our time at Jamestown, VA. She said that we would get sick and that all the women should seek a man who is rich before one who is handsome. Her husband, Governor Sir Francis Wyatt stayed at Jamestown until properly relieved in 1625. I did not ask her about the magic wand in her right hand.
